To what extent can it be said that the recent decisions in Bocardo SA v Star Energy UK Onshore Ltd [2010] UKSC 35 and in Spielplatz Ltd v Pearson [2015] EWCA Civ 804  show that the traditional common law definitions of land are still an appropriate way of determining what forms part of the land?
