Special Population Project

Please read these instructions carefully.

Research and describe the effect of alcohol on your selected special population. 

Whoever is writing this paper, here are some of my suggestions: older adults, youth (underage), race, age or gender. You may choose another to your liking as long as the sources you provide supports it.

  • Identify unique problems or considerations that apply to your group.
  • Compare and contrast your group to the overall U.S. population
  • Describe best treatment practices for specific issues relevant to the selected population.

References:

  • Locate 5-7 journal articles or book chapters related to your special population. References should be no older than ten years old.
  • Use only scholarly, objective sources for your project. Peer-reviewed articles. Web-based information such as Wikipedia and About.com and popular news outlets such as Time or Newsweek are NOT acceptable sources for this project.

  • APA format and citation style
  • 2500 words minimum
  • Separate title page and reference list
  • 12 point font
  • Numbered pages
  • 1″ margins
