In this assignment, you are required to write a literary critical analysis that consists of an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each body paragraph should contain a quotation from the text. Please do not include outside or research sources in this paper. Make sure you thesis is not an obvious point. After writing your introduction, you will provide support in each body paragraph that proves your thesis. Avoid beginning and ending body paragraphs with a quotation. You always want to analyze a quotation after you provide the quotation. You will also have a conclusion; there’s no reason to include quotations in the introduction and/or the conclusion. Quotations must be CITED, using line numbers. All of your quotations in these response papers should be considered “short” quotations, meaning they consist of three lines or less.
